Meeting of Digital Inclusion Initiative (DII) Project Researchers in Skopje

DII Project participating countries met in Skopje during the beginning of March 2025 to conduct in-depth research on the state of digital inclusion, with a particular focus on marginalized communities and ensuring their integration into the digital realm.

These researchers will provide a comprehensive overview of the current landscape of digital inclusion, identifying key challenges and success factors for effective digital integration at both national and local levels.

The Digital Inclusion Initiative (DII) is a three-year regional project, implemented by the Kosova Education Center (KEC) in partnership with five organizations from the region:

  • Centre for Education Policy (CEP) – Serbia
  • Step by Step – Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Macedonian Civic Education Center (MCEC) - North Macedonia
  • Civil Society Development Center (CSDC) – Albania
  • proMENTE socijalna istraživanja – Bosnia and Herzegovina

The “Digital Inclusion Initiative - DII” project is funded by the European Union and aims to strengthen the role of NGOs from the Western Balkans in promoting participatory democracies and the EU approximation process, by strengthening their capacities for policy development and advocacy for digital inclusion.
