The Coalition for Digital Inclusion in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been launched to bring together institutions, civil society organizations, academia, and the private sector around joint steps to reduce the digital divide.
First Meeting of the Coalition for Digital Inclusion in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The first meeting focuses on building a shared understanding of the current situation, mapping priorities, and agreeing on directions for action by sector and role. Invited participants include representatives of public institutions and local authorities, civil society organizations, universities and research institutes, schools and teachers, the business community, and all stakeholders who wish to contribute to inclusive digital policies and practices.

At the meeting, the Report on the State of Digital Inclusion in Bosnia and Herzegovina was also presented. The document maps the current situation, challenges, and recommendations for advancing digital inclusion in BiH. The author is Šejla Bjelopoljak (Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Bihać), and the publisher is the Center for Educational Initiatives Step by Step, with financial support from the European Union

The report is intended for policy makers, institutions, civil society organizations, academia, and the private sector seeking to reduce the digital divide and include marginalized groups.

The Digital Inclusion Initiative (DII) project funded by the European Union aims to strengthen the role of civil society organizations from the Western Balkans in promoting participatory democracies and the process of EU integration, by enhancing their capacities for policy development and advocacy for digital inclusion.
